Welcome to my blog! As we draw closer to election day, I want to share some of my experiences on the campaign trail with you. I have met thousands of voters in our district as I go door to door and have an amazing new insight on the thoughts and feelings that are on people's minds. As I meet so many of you I am hearing so much how the system is so broken and that having faith that anyone is able or willing to make a change is difficult to believe. As much as I want to give every reason in the book to believe otherwise, I have to agree actually. Don't forget, I am not one of "them", I am one of you. I go to work every day while I work on this campaign. I am not wealthy or well connected. I pay the same property taxes, have the same frustrations with inactivity and what seems to be an inequity in how things progress from day to day. That is why I am running. I need the change as much as we all need the change. Stop back here often and read how the campaign is progressing. What I am seeing and hearing out there and look for me to knock on your door one day soon. We are out there wanting to hear from you.
